The RWE Industrial Museum is located in Heimbach (Eifel) in the Düren district , North Rhine-Westphalia .

The museum has been housed in the Heimbach power plant , which is still in operation , since 1989 . The completely preserved Art Nouveau building is unique in Europe.

The old brass fittings with the turbines can be seen in the power station itself. Electrical devices from the beginning of the 20th century are on display in the neighboring house. From bottle warmers to cigarette lighter you will find all kinds of historical electrical appliances here.
