Local history museum Inden
The Local History Museum Inden is located in Indener district Lucherberg in Düren , North Rhine-Westphalia .
The Inden History Association has been exhibiting finds and other exhibits on the history of the Inden community in three rooms in the old school in Lucherberg since 1977 . In 1993, the small museum had to move to the old town hall because school was abandoned. Seven rooms are available here.
Models, the archaeological finds, the newspaper and photo archive, video films and multimedia presentations are shown in the new rooms. In addition, the nearby lignite opencast mine in Inden and the problem of resettlement etc. are discussed.
