The Museum Hürtgenwald 1944 and in peace is located in Vossenack , municipality Hürtgenwald in the district of Düren , North Rhine-Westphalia .
On March 29, 1983, the "Peace Museum Hürtgenwald 1944" was opened in a stone barn in Kleinhau . It was intended to commemorate the heavy battles in World War II in the Hürtgen Forest and the All Souls' Battle . Konrad Schall from Winden had brought together many exhibits. Vehicles, documents, uniforms and much more documented the fighting in the area.
Later, part of the exhibition from the Schall estate was taken over by the municipality. She passed this on to the Hürtgenwald history association . Today's Museum Hürtgenwald was opened on September 15, 2001 in 1944 and in peace .
The Peace Museum is divided into the following themed rooms:

- The Siegfried Line in the Hürtgenwald area
- Card room
- The Wehrmacht in the Huertgen Forest
- The US Army in the Huertgen Forest
- The Hürtgenwald in the post-war period
