Radio 21 (spelling: RADIO 21 ) is a regional and private radio broadcaster based in Garbsen in Lower Saxony . At the end of 2011, the station gave up its old location in the Havelse district and moved to the Berenbostel district . The rock-oriented music genre program is characterized by a broad mix of music. Is played mainly rock music from the 1960s - 1970s - and 1980s -Jahren, but also guitar-driven pop music . The station has been running under the slogan Best Rock 'N POP since October 2013 .

The program is currently broadcast in Lower Saxony and Bremen on 23 frequencies and is designed as a local program network. This means that the program is split up to fifteen times an hour. The morning show “Der neue Morgen” will be moderated by Oliver Peral, who previously worked as a presenter for the broadcaster NDR 2 and was one of the broadcaster's most famous presenters. The morning is moderated by Annette Radüg, who previously moderated Annette Raer as "Antennes Annette" on Hit-Radio Antenne Niedersachsen and is one of the most successful presenters in Germany. The broadcasting time of the “Annette Radüg Show” is from 10:00 to 14:00. From 11:00 am, Annette will talk to listeners about their calling and life's work on the program “People at Annette”.
Per Eggers will moderate the Drive-Time from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. In addition to the current weather and traffic service, there is every day information about new things in the music world in "Per's Rock 'N Pop-News".
Special programs
In the “Giants of Rock”, Olli Peral presents rock bands such as Guns N 'Roses , Aerosmith , ZZ Top or the Red Hot Chili Peppers for an hour every Wednesday and Saturday from 8:00 pm .
On Tuesdays, new music from the rock scene is presented in the show "New & Announced". New bands take turns with well-known hits.
The program “Konzertkracher XXL” runs on Fridays from 8:00 p.m. Live versions of rock concerts are broadcast for two hours.
In the program “Back to the 80s - the hottest decade of all time”, Marius Hühne focuses on a different year of the 1980s every Monday from 8 p.m.
Moderator Marius Hühne and personality coach Mira Mühlenhof are on the air on Saturdays from 9:00 am in “People of the Week”. In the coaching - column , the two talk about people who have moved emotionally in recent days. The format was awarded the Media Prize 2015 by the Lower Saxony State Media Authority in the “Information and Business - Radio” category.
How stars became legends is explained by Per Eggers every Friday afternoon shortly after 4 p.m. in “Myths of Rock History”. In the show, the stories of rock stars are questioned.

The music selection consists of 70% rock - and 30% pop music . The range of songs ranges from the 1960s to the present day. The core artists include Queen , AC / DC , U2 , Bon Jovi , Red Hot Chili Peppers and Guns N 'Roses .
RADIO 21 TV
Radio TV, which was launched in early 2016, also broadcasts a video program in addition to the station's audio signal, which replaces the songs on the radio with the corresponding music videos, shows presenters with studio cameras and offers special images for news, weather and traffic services. With Radio TV, RADIO 21 and Rockland Radio managing director Steffen Müller are pursuing the goal of being present with a video offering on television, computers and tablets with radio programs.
