Raffaella Reggi (born November 27, 1965 in Faenza ) is a former Italian tennis player .

Career

Raffaella Reggi won five WTA tournaments in singles and four in doubles in her professional career.

In 1986 she and Sergio Casal secured the mixed title at the US Open and thus the first Grand Slam title for Italy. She reached her best marks in the WTA world rankings with 13th place in singles (1988) and 25th place in doubles (1991).

In the 1988 Olympic Games in Seoul and 1992 in Barcelona Reggi played each in singles and doubles for Italy. At the demonstration tournament of the 1984 Olympic Games in Los Angeles, she won the bronze medal in singles.

From 1982 to 1992 Reggi played for the Italian Fed Cup team . Your personal balance: 14: 6 wins in singles and 4: 9 in doubles.
