Rahel Hubacher

Rahel Hubacher (* 1975 in Bannwil ) is a Swiss actress .

Life

Rahel Hubacher grew up in Bannwil as the daughter of a farmer. After training as a goldsmith , she turned to acting and studied from 1998 to 2002 at the Zurich University of the Arts . This was followed by permanent engagements at the Theater Basel (2002 to 2006) and the Theater am Neumarkt Zurich (2008 to 2010), and Hubacher has been a freelance worker since 2010. Since then she has made guest appearances at the Rote Fabrik in Zurich, the Zürcher Schauspielhaus and the Stadttheater Bern . Hubacher continued to appear at the Wiener Festwochen , the Avignon Festival and the Berlin Theatertreffen . Well-known roles have so far been Pünktchen in a stage version of Erich Kästner's novel Pünktchen und Anton , Nina in Anton Chekhov's Seagull , the Barblin in Andorra by Max Frisch or Elli in Kasimir and Karoline by Ödön von Horváth .

After her debut in the tragic comedy Die Herbstzeitlosen , Rahel Hubacher has repeatedly appeared in front of the camera in Swiss film and television productions. So she was in the comedies The Registrar and Attention, done, WK! and an episode of the series The Undertaker . Occasionally she also works as a radio play speaker. Together with Dagmar Walser , the first, second, third was created: a memento , a feature that deals with rural auctions and cattle auctions.

Rahel Hubacher lives in Zurich.
