After a short walk to the east, it turns from Mont in the municipality of La Forteresse in a larger curve to the northwest. It flows through Saint-Gerois , where it runs briefly to the west, then mainly in several arcs to the north. It passes the village of Saint-Étienne-de-Saint-Geoirs , takes up the Coule and immediately afterwards flows again predominantly to the west, whereby it the municipal areas of Brézins , Saint-Siméon-de-Bressieux , where the Baïse flows into, La Côte- Saint-André and Viriville flows through it.

After passing the center of the village of Marcilloles , it flows briefly south through Thodure , where it is also called Baïse. Here, a little north of the village center, it takes the Nivollon, Torrent de la Pérouse and the Torrent de Fondon from the left. The river flows north-west again and is now called Raille for the first time. It crosses Beaufort before it flows into a tributary of the Oron upper reaches at the western boundary of Saint-Barthélemy at about 272  m from the right, which is also called Rivière de Saint-Barthélemy here .
