Ramiseto ( Emilian : Ramṣèit ) is a fraction of the Italian municipality ( comune ) Ventasso in the province of Reggio Emilia , Emilia-Romagna region .
geography
The place is about 56 kilometers south-southwest of Reggio nell'Emilia in the Tuscan-Emilian Apennines at 865 m slm in the upper valley of the same name through which the Rio Lonza flows.
history
Ramiseto was an independent municipality until 2015 and merged with the neighboring municipalities of Busana , Collagna and Ligonchio on January 1, 2016 to form the new municipality of Ventasso. The municipality also included the districts of Braglie, Camporella, Canova, Casalobbio, Castagneto, Cecciola , Cereggio, Enzano, Fornolo, Gazzolo, La Costa, Lugolo, Masere, Miscoso, Montedello , Montemiscoso, Pieve San Vincenzo, Poviglio, Storlo, Succiso, Succiso Nuovo, Taviano, Tegge, Temporia and Ventasso. The neighboring communities of Ramiseto were Busana, Castelnovo ne 'Monti , Collagna, Comano ( MS ), Monchio delle Corti ( PR ), Palanzano (PR) and Vetto .
