Raphael Gensert (born June 3, 1979 in Bad Homburg in front of the height ) is a German radio presenter , speaker , author and producer.

Career and professional activity

Raphael Gensert completed an internship at the DASDING youth program of SWF and SDR in 1998 as a student and then became a freelancer, initially as an editor and news anchor , later as a moderator . After graduating from high school, he did his military service at Radio Andernach until the spring of 2000 . There he moderated the morning program and numerous magazine programs. After completing his military service, he returned to DASDING in Baden-Baden and until 2003 mainly moderated the early morning show Startzeit and the lunch show meal .

Parallel to his work at SWR, from 2002 to 2005 he took over the weekend and occasional broadcasts in the daily program on hr XXL , (now You FM ), the youth program of the Hessischer Rundfunk in Frankfurt am Main . During this time, Raphael Gensert also worked for hr1 and hr2 and for the television production company Filmpool . He appeared on RTL and Sat 1 several times as an actor in court shows such as judge Barbara Salesch and Das Jugendgericht . In 2004 his career entry guide Endlich Radio Moderator was self-published, and in 2015 the new edition.

From 2004 to 2007 Gensert studied language and communication in Marburg and Cologne and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts . This was followed by engagements with SR 1 Europawelle and Our thing , where he could be heard on numerous broadcasts. Between 2009 and 2012 he worked as a news editor and spokesman for Radio Salü and Classic Rock Radio. During this time he held specialist seminars and workshops on radio topics in the media competence center of the State Media Authority in Saarland . The offers were aimed mainly at young editors and moderators. In 2012 and 2013 he volunteered in media and citizen communication in the administration of the state capital Saarbrücken .

In 2014 he could be heard as a vacation replacement at NDR Kultur .

He has been a fiction writer since 2015. After he won the literary competition of the Verlag der Schatten, his short novel "Where nothing more is" appeared in the anthology "Mysterious Friedhöfe und Grabstätten", which was published in autumn 2018. In 2019 he published his first fiction work with his short story volume "Wednesday, February 31st".

Since 2017 he has been moderating video reports on economic, financial and stock market topics at dpa-AFX , a subsidiary of the German Press Agency , on a regular basis.

He lives in Saarbrücken and Frankfurt am Main.

Raphael Gensert is a member of the Association of German Speakers as well as the collecting society Wort and the GVL .
