description

Vaulted hall on the ground floor

The Renaissance building was built on the remains of the cellars of three houses that were demolished for the construction of the town hall. Round-arched entrance gates on the local side and on the opposite side of the Main serve as access to the vaulted hall on the ground floor . Here the taxes in kind were delivered on carts . There was a barrel store in the cellar.

The two-storey saddle roof building with three-storey curved gables has a high slate roof with pointed dormer windows and a plastered facade with sandstone frames and edges. The half-stepping polygonal stair tower is covered by a slate dome.

Coats of arms in the meeting room

In the conference room on the first floor, seven coats of arms have been preserved, all of which were made before 1613. The discs with a diameter between 35 and 36 cm are provided with a legend.
