Raul Henrique Castro e Silva de Vincenzi ( 1918 - October 28, 2010 ) was a Brazilian basketball player and ambassador .

Life

Raul Henrique Castro e Silva de Vincenzi was the first Brazilian to win a gold medal at the South American Basketball Championship in Rio de Janeiro in 1939 with a national team . With a selection team from Liga Carioca de Basketball 1933 and Atleta do Botafogo , he played in Montevideo in 1940 and in Santiago de Chile in 1942 , with his team taking third place in both tournaments.

1945 joined de Vincenzi his studies in jurisprudence from, joined the Foreign Service and was secretary of legation in Washington, DC From 1953 to 1954 he served as charge d'affaires in Taipei then and as secretary of legation in London used.
