Regula Rohrbach (born October 1, 1974 ) is a former Swiss swimmer and triathlete . She is the winner of the Ironman Wales (2012).

Career

Regula Rohrbach was active as a competitive swimmer from 1986 to 1999.

Triathlon since 2005

She started her first triathlon in 2005 and mostly competed in long distance competitions.
In July 2010 she finished fifth in Ironman Switzerland at her first start on the Ironman distance (3.86 km swimming, 180.2 km cycling and 42.195 km running).

In September 2012 she won the Ironman Wales in its second edition. Regula Rohrbach has been active for the Swiss national team on the long distance since 2013 . In July 2018, the 43-year-old living in Zurich declared her active time over after Ironman Switzerland.

Regula Rohrbach works for the Swiss Swimming Association as an actuary for the Eastern Switzerland region.
