Regular Show is an American animated series that has been running on Cartoon Network since 2010and won an Emmy in2012in the “Outstanding Short-format Animated Program” category. The idea for the series comes from JG Quintel, who also speaks several characters. The series ran in Germany on free TV on kabel eins and will be broadcast for the first time on Cartoon Network.

The series is about the daily life of two friends Mordecai, a blue jay , and Rigby, a raccoon , who work as groundskeepers in the local park. Their boss Benson, a chewing gum machine , makes life difficult for them by constantly telling them new tasks that they try to avoid as much as possible.

Most of the episodes of Regular Show are 11 minutes long and are often shown in double episodes when they are broadcast on television to fill the 30-minute slot. So far, 211 episodes have been broadcast over seven seasons in the United States. The first airing of the first season began on September 6, 2010 with the episode "The Power" and ended on November 22, 2010 with "Mordecai and the Rigbys". Season 2 started on November 29, 2010 with the episode "Ello Gov'nor" and ended on August 1, 2011 with "Karaoke Video". The third season first started on September 19, 2011 with the episode "Stick Hockey" and ended on September 3, 2012 with the episode "Bad Kiss". The fourth season started on October 1, 2012 with the 30-minute special episode "Exit 9B" and ended on August 12, 2013 with the final episode "Steak Me Amadeus". Season 5 started on September 2, 2013 with the two episodes "Laundry Woes" ​​and "Silver Dude" and ended with the episode "Real Date" on August 14, 2014. The first broadcast of season 6 took place on October 9 with the episode " Maxin 'and Relaxin' ”and is broadcast continuously. On August 13, 2016, Mark Hamill wrote on Twitter that he was doing the final voice over recordings for the series.
