Rectors' Conference of the Swiss Universities of Applied Sciences
The Rectors' Conference of the Swiss Universities of Applied Sciences (KFH) was an association which, when the Swiss Universities of Applied Sciences Act (FHSG, 414.71) came into force on October 6, 1995, the seven public universities of applied sciences in Switzerland and the Private Kaleidos Group merged. Members of the conference were the universities of applied sciences, represented by the respective rectors and the director of the universities of applied sciences.
The association was led by a general secretary. The first GS was Fredy Sidler, his successor by the end of 2014 Thomas Bachofner.
At the end of 2014, KFH merged with the Rectors' Conference of the Universities (CRUS) and the Rectors' Conference of the Universities of Education (COHEP) to form the new Swiss-wide Rectors' Conference of the universities " swissuniversities ".
