Rey Maualuga (* 20th January 1987 in Fort Sill , Oklahoma ) is a former American American football poker players in the National Football League (NFL). He played for the Cincinnati Bengals and the Miami Dolphins as a linebacker .

college

Maualuga attended the University of Southern California and played for their team, the Trojans, which was then coached by Pete Carroll , from 2005 to 2008 very successfully college football . Despite the strong linebacker corps of the Trojans - in addition to Maualuga, Brian Cushing and Clay Matthews also belonged to the team - he was used regularly and was able to set a total of 164 tackles and score 9.0 sacks . Cincinnati Bengals

Miami Dolphins

In August 2017, Maualuga joined the Miami Dolphins .

On November 18, Maualuga was arrested for assault and shortly afterwards the Dolphins released him.
