The Tmf 2/2 are the Rhaetian Railway (RhB) tractors equipped with radio remote control with internal combustion engines .

Between 1991 and 1994, RACO procured six units with the numbers Tmf 2/2 85 to 90. The drive, including the Cummins diesel engines, was taken over from the Tm 2/2 81 to 84, as they had good experiences with them. At the same time, care was taken to ensure that many components matched the Gmf 4/4 built at the same time , which were purchased for the construction of the Vereina tunnel. Accordingly, they are designed so that two of them can replace a Gmf 4/4 in double traction.

The task of these tractors was to replace the aging Tm 2/2 15 to 26 at larger train stations. But they also had to be able to transport lighter construction trains.

In 2006, six new Tm 2/2 115 to 120 were added to replace the Tmf 2/2 85 to 90 in the shunting service so that they could be transferred to the infrastructure.

The machines reach a top speed of 50 km / h and develop an hourly output of 205 kW at 25 km / h . They weigh 24 t and are 7 490 mm long.
