Rhonda Shear

Rhonda Honey Shear (born November 12, 1954 in New Orleans , Louisiana ) is an American actress and presenter .

Life

Shear attended Loyola University New Orleans , where she graduated with a bachelor's degree in communications . She participated in various beauty pageants in the early 1970s . In 1975 she won the Miss Louisiana title and represented the state in the Miss USA election . Her feature film debut she had in a small supporting role in the 1976 horror film revenge from beyond the grave with junior Louis Gossett . From the early 1980s, she had numerous guest appearances on successful television series such as Dallas , The A-Team and A Colt Just In Case . She only had major feature film roles in B-movies like On behalf of the planet Nerva alongside Pat Morita and Sam J. Jones and Prison – A – Go – Go! .

She became known in the United States as the host of the USA Up All Night feature film series on USA Network . Between 1991 and 1998 she moderated the Friday edition of the series, while Gilbert Gottfried led the Saturday edition. They also had a guest appearance at the WWE major event Wrestlemania X . In 1993 she appeared in the US edition of Playboy . Shear also designed her own underwear collections, which she sells through home shopping channels and her own shop.

Shear is married and has no children.
