Richard Lynn Stenhouse junior (born October 2, 1987 in Memphis , Tennessee ) is an American racing car driver . He won the NASCAR Nationwide Series in 2011 .

Stenhouse began his motorsport career in midget car races in 2003. He competed in midget races until 2012. In 2008 he made his debut in the ARCA Racing Series . He won two races and was fourth in the drivers' championship. In 2009 he drove for Roush Fenway Racing for the first time in the NASCAR Nationwide Series . He took part in 7 of 35 races, achieved pole position and finished 62nd in the drivers' championship. In 2010 Stenhouse stayed with Roush Fenway Racing in the Nationwide Series. He only did not take part in three races. A third place was his best result and he finished 16th overall. In 2011 , Stenhouse completed the entire Nationwide Series season for Roush Fenway Racing. He won two races and won the Nationwide Series overall standings. He also made his debut for Wood Brothers Racing in the Sprint Cup . He took part in a race. He also took part in a race in the Rolex Sports Car Series . In 2012 he competed in the Sprint Cup for Roush Fenway Racing.

In 2017, Stenhouse won his first two Cup races in his fifth full Cup Series season.
