Robert Bittner
Robert Bittner (born May 5, 1977 in Rüdersdorf near Berlin ) is a German actor , director , author and producer. He is the founder of the film production company Sonnenfilme, which he is managing director.
Life
Robert Bittner grew up in Spreenhagen in Brandenburg and did his community service in the home for the mentally handicapped in Storkow. He then studied German and philosophy at the Technical University of Berlin and the Humboldt University of Berlin until 2001. From 2001 to 2004 he studied drama in Berlin and in 2007 completed a year of directing as a guest at the Ernst Busch Academy of Dramatic Arts in Berlin .
After completing his acting school he started with the one-person play "Johan vom Po discovers America" by Dario Fo , which he has played in a wide variety of theaters to this day. In addition to his first leading roles in short films, he appeared in the telenovela Verliebt in Berlin as a performance artist, in the pilot film "Exitus - Doctors at the Limit" (director: Udo Witte ) and played theater at the Altmark Theater in Stendal. Engagements at theaters in Potsdam, Hamburg and Erfurt followed. At the Deutsches Theater Berlin he was a. a. in the ensemble of "Orestie" directed by Michael Thalheimer , who was invited to the Berlin Theatertreffen 2007 and won the Mess festival in Sarajevo.
In 2008 he went to the Landestheater Detmold , where he was a member of the ensemble a. a. in the 2009 production nominated for the German Theater Prize Der Faust "The Hermansschlacht - a German contemplation", which was invited in excerpts to the Theatertreffen NRW. During this time he worked with Roland Trescher , who staged the improv theater show "Hau den Hermann".
As a result, after many other short films, he turned the feature film "Operation Perpetuum Mobile", in which he played one of the leading roles. This was followed by theater engagements at theaters in Aachen, Neustrelitz, Neubrandenburg and Berlin.
In 2012, Bittner and two colleagues founded the film production company Sonnenfilme, which released the films "Lucky Dice" and "Spring Wind" that year. In 2013 he expanded his activities with the completion of the feature film “Heimatstern” and the music video “Fräulein Sommer”. The special feature of the music video is that it consists of a plan sequence that is played backwards. It received the rating "Valuable" from the Wiesbaden FBW film evaluation office . Sonnenfilme also produces show reels, concert recordings and image films.
Robert Bittner has been writing poetry and prose since 2005 - from 2012 he concentrated on writing screenplays.
In 2013 he shot the ZDF television film “Feuer unterm Dach” in Sweden with Marie Zielcke from the Inga Lindström series, which was broadcast for the first time on December 29, 2013. At the end of the year, he went to the Eduard von Winterstein Theater Annaberg Buchholz as a member of the ensemble.
In 2014 his music video “Fräulein Sommer” premiered at the Dresden Film Festival , where it won the audience award. After numerous film festivals in Germany and around the world (London, Rome, Cannes, Toronto, Nicosia, San Antonio-Texas, India, Austria, USA and others), the video was shown after its TV premiere in the program Unicato on MDR after an online voting with Unicato 2014 Award for the best music video. In 2015, the video won the Euro Film Festival in Spain and received 1st Prize from the Jury and an Honorable Mention from the audience at the Grace Film Festival in San Francisco. In an ARTE television report about the location, the Weddinger "Wiesenburg" Berlin Asylum Association for the homeless , an excerpt from Fräulein Sommer was shown in addition to an interview.
The broadcaster Radio Erzgebirge made Bittner “Human 2014”.
During his engagement in Annaberg he made the film "Der Spiegelberg", which is to be released in 2015. In late summer 2014 he played at the Theater Vorpommern .
Robert Bittner lives and works as a freelance actor and director in Berlin. He is represented by the Mosblech agency.
