Robert Johannes

Robert Ernst Johannes (born September 19, 1854 in Dalena ; † January 21, 1929 in Leipzig - Gohlis ) was a German administrative officer .

Life

Johannes was the son of the landowner on Groß-Rosenberg and Dalema in the Saalekreis Andreas Christoph Heinrich Friedrich Johannes (1822–1884) and his wife Hermine Pauline Friederike née Rohde (1841–1906). Johannes, who was a Protestant denomination, married Frida Colberg, the daughter of August Colberg, a professor of medicine in Kiel and his wife Meta, née Herrfurth , on September 7, 1886 in Wehlitz . He attended the Nikolai-Gymnasium in Leipzig and, after graduating from high school, studied law at the universities of Heidelberg , Leipzig and Berlin from 1875 to 1879 and became a trainee lawyer at the Lützen district court on July 12, 1879 and a government trainee at the government in Erfurt on August 1, 1881 . On November 29, 1884, he passed the Grand State Examination and began as a government assessor for the government in Merseburg . From August 1887 to the end of November 1888 he was an unskilled worker in the Reich Insurance Office . On December 1, 1888, he became provisional, and on June 17, 1889, he became district administrator of the Unterlahn district . On July 25, 1900 he was appointed a councilor and transferred to the Erfurt government on August 3, 1900. In 1906 he switched to the government in Liegnitz and retired in 1916.

From 1899 to 1900 he was a representative of the Unterlahn district in the Nassau municipal parliament .

In 1875/1876 he served as a one-year volunteer in the 1st Guard Dragoon Regiment. There he was Second Lieutenant of the Reserve in 1879. In May 1884 he switched to the Guard Landwehr Cavalry and took his leave there in June 1879.
