Heinrich Thon

Heinrich Thon (born August 17, 1872 in Neumünster , † July 8, 1939 in Kiel ) was a German administrative lawyer.

Life

Heinrich Thon studied law at the Kaiser Wilhelms University of Strasbourg . In 1892 he became a member of the Corps Rhenania Strasbourg . After passing the state examination and subsequent legal traineeship, he worked from 1908 to 1918 as a district administrator in Marienberg ( Oberwesterwaldkreis ), and from 1918–1920 in the same function in Diez ( Unterlahnkreis ). 1919–1920 he also held the post of Deputy Police President of Wiesbaden .

From 1920 to 1932 he worked as senior councilor and vice- president of the senior executive committee of the province of Schleswig-Holstein under the social democratic senior president Heinrich Kürbis . During the Prussian strike , the Papen cabinet installed him in 1932 as senior president of the province of Schleswig-Holstein ; But already on 25 March 1933, he had these items to the NSDAP - Gauleiter Hinrich Lohse cede.
