Robert Lemaignen

Robert Lemaignen (born March 15, 1893 in Blois , † April 3, 1980 in Paris ) was a French politician and EEC commissioner .

Life

In the early years he was vice president of the French employers' association.

In 1958 he became a member of the first European Hallstein Commission . His main area of ​​responsibility was the development of the overseas states and territories . He was also a member of the working groups in the main areas of responsibility for transport and agriculture .

When the commission left office in 1962, he was not again commissioner of the Hallstein II commission . He was succeeded by Henri Rochereau , also a French.
