Henri Rochereau

Henri Rochereau (born March 25, 1908 in Chantonnay , † January 25, 1999 in Paris ) was a French politician . He was an EC commissioner .
From 1949 to 1959 he was a member of the French Senate for the Vendée department and General Councilor for the canton of Les Essarts . From May 28, 1959 to August 24, 1961, he was Minister of Agriculture in the government under Michel Debré .
From 1962 to 1970 he was Commissioner for Development and Humanitarian Aid of the European Economic Community (until 1967) and then of the European Communities .
From 1970 to 1986 he was President of the Association of Great French Ports .
