The Neusser Furth is a district of Neuss and extends north of the city center, separated from it by the main train station and its tracks, to the city limits to Kaarst . As of December 31, 2016, 22,160 people live here. Sometimes other districts of the northern part of the city are often colloquially counted as part of the Furth, although they are independent city districts. For example, the Further Schützenfest takes place on the fairground on the border between Weißenberg and Vogelsang.

Like the Vogelsang district, the Furth came from the city of Kaarst zu Neuss in 1913 as part of a community reorganization. Since the regional reform , which came into force on January 1, 1975, the district has consisted of the three Neuss districts Furth-Süd, Furth-Mitte and Furth-Nord.

Events

Every year at Pentecost, the Further Schützenfest takes place ( Volks- und Heimatfest Neuss-Furth ). A traditional Nikolaus market takes place on St.
