The Rohnsdorfer Bach is a brook in central Carinthia . It rises in the flat basin of the former Flatschacher Moos , east of Maria Feicht and south of Metschach , near the border between the districts of Feldkirchen and Sankt Veit an der Glan . From there it flows to the east, takes up the runoff of the Zmulner See on the right and turns to the northeast. It flows through Bärndorf and south past Zweikirchen . Then it turns north, flows through Rohnsdorf , and joins the Glan (478 m above sea level ) south of Liebenfels .
The brook has the biological water quality -intermediate class I-II (oligo to beta-mesosaprobe level), which is characterized by low inorganic and organic nutrient content and clear water. In Rohnsdorfer Bach both the larva was great Mayfly ( Ephemera danica ) and on her as a commensal living Midge Epoicocladius flavens proven.
There used to be a few mills by the stream. The former house Bärndorf No. 2, commonly known as Pichler / Stoffl, was a mill that operated a Venetian saw from 1896 until after the Second World War .
