The Zmulner See also Moose Bauer pond is a bog water -bearing kettle hole in the community love rock near the village Zmuln in the upper Glantal .
The basin of the Zmulner See was created by dead ice from the branch of a glacier, which retreated in the Glan valley in a westerly direction. The lake is located in a 40 hectare landscape protection area in the middle of intensively used cultivated areas. It drains over the Rohnsdorfer Bach into the north located Glan .
Animals in the Zmulner See
The following 8 species, some of them secured by stocking, have been reported by the fish water owner:
- Perch ( Perca fluviatilis )
 - Northern pike ( Esox lucius )
 - Carp ( Cyprinus carpio , with natural reproduction)
 - Roach ( Rutilus rutilus )
 - Rudd ( Scardinius erythrophthalmus )
 - Tench ( Tinca tinca , occupied)
 - Catfish ( Silurus glanis )
 - Zander ( Sander lucioperca )
 
The Zmulner See is home to a population of noble crayfish ( Astacus astacus ).
