The Magdalensee is a 14-hectare lake in Carinthia , which is located in the municipality of the city of Villach . The lake is located in a shallow basin southwest of a gravel terrace. Its theoretical water renewal time is 3.6 months. Since it is only fed by groundwater, its catchment area is only 0.6 km².
The Villach district of St. Magdalen is located on the shores of the lake.
