The Gösselsdorfer See ( Slov .: Goslinsko jezero ) is a bathing lake in the communities of Eberndorf and Sittersdorf in south-east Carinthia .

The lake is located on the eastern edge of the Rückersdorfer Platte and is the most silted-up lake in the Carinthian Unterland. Of the originally existing area of 1 km², only around 32 hectares of free water are left. The maximum water depth is 3 m. Due to the shallow depth, the lake is richly overgrown with sea and pond roses and underwater plants. On the banks there are broad stands of reeds with reeds , broad-leaved cattails , pond and cutting rushes and hedgehog ears . Humic acids get into the lake from the adjacent silting bogs and cause a brownish color.

The Gösselsdorfer See lies in a 476 hectare landscape protection area (LGBl. No. 51/1970, 101/1979 and 73/1986). South of the lake has been a 23.4 hectare area under nature protection since 1986 (LGBl. No. 71/1986).

The lake is mainly fed by groundwater, the flooding is quite strong in summer with 300–400 l / s. The drain drains into the Drava .
