The Pirkdorfer Lake (slow. Breško jezero ) is a quarry pond in the Carinthian municipality of Bleiburg . The lake is located in the middle between the main town and the district of Pirkdorf . At the point of the lake there was a wet area that was turned into a bathing lake by dredging .
Fish stocks
The Carinthian Institute for Lake Research (KIS) surveyed the following fish species:
- Northern pike ( Esox lucius )
- Catfish ( Silurus glanis )
- Roach ( Rutilus rutilus )
- Rudd ( Scardinius erythrophthalmus )
- Tench ( Tinca tinca )
- Perch ( Perca fluviatilis )
- Common carp ( Cyprinus carpio )
According to the KIS, there is only a small fish stocking ; no fishing cards are issued.
