The Sonnegger See is an artificial swimming lake in the Sittersdorf district of Sonnegg in the Jauntal in the Austrian state of Carinthia . It was excavated in 1966 and bordered to the east and west by dams against the surrounding wetland. Since the natural inflow turned out to be insufficient, an artificial inflow of 20 l / s from the Sucherbach was created to improve the water quality .
