The Aichwaldsee is a small lake in the municipality of Finkenstein . It is a boggy lake, the water quality of which is shown to be very good despite the resulting turbidity .

The lake is surrounded by a 24-hectare conservation area (LGBl. No. 41/1970). There is a public bathing beach on the southern shore of the lake and in winter the lake is used for ice skating by the Wörthersee ice skating club .
