Rohrbach is a district of the town of Kamenz in the Saxon district of Bautzen . The place is west of the core city of Kamenz. The S 100 runs south.
history
The Gutweiler Rohrbach was first mentioned in a document in 1263 and was initially also the seat of a manor that belonged to the royal lordship of Königsbrück . Between 1527 and 1612 the manor must have been dissolved, because in the latter year Rohrbach was referred to as the Vorwerk von Brauna . In 1777 only one cottage owner lived in the village.
On March 1st, 1994 Rohrbach was incorporated into Schönteichen . Before the incorporation, Rohrbach was part of the municipality of Brauna. With the dissolution of the community of Schönteichen on January 1, 2019, Rohrbach was reclassified to Kamenz.
