Roland Kaiser (actor)

Roland Ernst Wolf Kaiser (born April 9, 1943 in Damsdorf , Zauch-Belzig district , Brandenburg ; † February 4, 1998 in Berlin ) was a German actor and voice actor .

Career

Kaiser was well known as a child star in the 1950s through his second film Emil and the Detectives (1954). Until he was 18, he took part in 20 other films, including Die Zürcher Verlobung , Ferien auf Immenhof and Wolfgang Staudte's roses for the public prosecutor .

His film career ended with his youth, and in the years that followed he did a few dubbing roles. For example, he spoke Tommy Rettig in the German version of the western River Without Return .
