Roman Deisenhofer (born February 16, 1985 in Augsburg ) is a German triathlete and two-time Bavarian Triathlon Champion (2016).

Career

Roman Deisenhofer has been running triathlons since 2011.

Triathlon professional since 2014

Deisenhofer was twice Bavarian champion in the duathlon and in 2016 also in the triathlon middle distance. He is a part-time civil servant in the professional fire brigade and has started as a professional since 2014. Roman Deisenhofer is trained by Robert Mücke . Since 2015 he has also started on the long distance.

In August 2016 he finished second in the Trans Vorarlberg Triathlon .

In November 2017, the then 32-year-old took third place at Ironman Malaysia, his first podium in the Ironman series. In the 2020 season he will start together with Sebastian Neef for the newly founded Spoosty pro.tri.team .
