action

28-year-old Romy White and Michele Weinberger have known each other since high school they attended together. White works in a car salon, Weinberger is unemployed. The two singles live together and like to go to parties.

Ten years after graduating from high school, the two women travel to their hometown of Tucson , where a college graduate meeting takes place. They want to pretend to be successful entrepreneurs there.

At the meeting, Romy and Michele are teased by former cheerleader leader Christy Masters, as if they were in school. They pretend they invented the sticky notes and made a fortune with it. Former colleague Heather Mooney knows the real inventor and exposes the lie.

Lisa Luder, who works for Vogue magazine , praises the style of clothing and hairdos used by Romy and Michele. Sandy Frink, who became a millionaire, is still an admirer of Michelle as then. He confesses to her that he has all the luxuries that he lacks. He asks Michelle to dance and, if she wishes, dances with both women at the same time, then he takes her with him in his helicopter.

For a few months the friends open a boutique with money borrowed from Sandy, in which Heather also goes shopping.
