Julia Campbell

Julia Campbell (born March 12, 1962 in Huntsville , Alabama ) is an American actress .

Life and accomplishments

Campbell attended Lake Braddock Secondary School in Burke, Virginia . She made her debut in the television series Ryan's Hope , in which she played Katie Thompson from 1984 to 1985 . In 1986 she appeared in the television series California Clan . A year later, she starred in the series Women in Prison . In the comedy The Unlucky Knights (1990) she played one of the bigger roles on the side of Dana Carvey .

In the 1997 comedy Romy and Michele , Campbell played the role of Christy Masters , the former cheerleading leader who has humiliated Romy White ( Mira Sorvino ), Michele Weinberger ( Lisa Kudrow ) and Heather Mooney ( Janeane Garofalo ) since high school . In the film drama Bounce (2000) she was seen at the side of Ben Affleck and Gwyneth Paltrow . She took on one of the leading roles in the drama The Tillamook Treasure (2006).

Campbell married actor Bernard White in 1988 . After the divorce, she married actor Jay Karnes .
