Roozbeh Farhangmore
Roozbeh Farhangmehr (stage name Rooz or Rooz Lee ) (* 1979 ) is a German journalist , presenter and DJ . Farhangmore is a rap and hip-hop journalist of Iranian descent well-known in German-speaking countries .
Live and act
Farhangmore states that the breakdance film Beat Street had a significant impact on him and also brought him to graffiti . At times, Farhangmore made a living from spraying after corresponding orders, including from his hometown Essen. Farhangmore took his brother Sinan-G to hip-hop jams and spraying during his youth . Around 2000 Farhangmore began producing music and DJing.
In April 2007 Sinan-G had to serve a three-year prison sentence in the Siegburg prison for forming a criminal organization and breaking into the law. Farhangmore then started the Free Sinan-G campaign , in which rappers PA Sports , Manuellsen , KC Rebell and Snaga & Pillath participated. In an interview shortly before his release, Sinan-G said that his brother introduced him to hip-hop and gave him prospects in prison. In the episode Sinan G. of the episode film Zeche is nich - Seven Views of the Ruhr Area 2010 , Farhangmore was portrayed next to his brother.
Farhangmehr is editor of the online magazine HipHop.de . He has also been running the #waslos YouTube format since 2012 , which is published on the HipHop.de channel . There Farhangmore interviews rappers from the German-speaking hip-hop scene. His interviews have up to 3 million views on YouTube. He also runs the RoozWorld channel , in which he covers topics outside of hip hop. On March 23, 2017 he was seen as a guest on the program Neo Magazin Royale .
On March 8, 2018, Farhangmehr released his debut single Immer wieder mit Rapper MoTrip , which was the highest newcomer in the German single charts the week after. The single stayed in the charts for 14 weeks. Again and again is the product of a content marketing measure that was carried out to accompany the launch of the Samsung Galaxy S9 smartphone .
In 2018, Farhangmore had a role as a supporting actor in the Netflix series Dogs of Berlin .
Farhangmehr has a master's degree in social and communication sciences.
