The apple variety 'Rotfranch' , also known as 'Weigelts Zinszahler' or 'Swedenborgs Muskatrenette' , is a table apple variety of unknown origin. The variety 'Rotfranch' was found in the Land of Hadeln before 1800 and is one of the Renetten .

The trees of the 'Rotfranch' variety grow steeply upwards at the beginning and only come to full yield later . The fruit of the 'Rotfranch' variety is red-skinned and small to medium-sized. The skin is rough and often has brown russeting. They are ready to be picked in mid-September and enjoyed by the end of October. The “pulp” is white to slightly yellow and has a sweet taste with a nutty aroma.
