The Rotterdam motorway ring ( Dutch Ring Rotterdam , Ringweg van Rotterdam or Rotterdamse Ruit ; German  Rotterdam diamond ) is the largest and busiest ring motorway in the Netherlands. The ring consists of four motorways that are 41 kilometers long. There are 15 exits and 6 motorway junctions on the motorways . The northern part of the ring is formed by Rijksweg 20 . Rijksweg 16 serves the eastern part . In the south it is formed by Rijksweg 15 . Rijksweg 4 runs to the west . Parts of the ring are used by more than 150,000 vehicles every day, the section over the Brienenoordbrug even by almost 250,000 vehicles, which leads to long traffic jams on the ring every day, especially at peak times.
