Rotting Out are a hardcore band from San Pedro , Los Angeles , California , United States , formed in 2007 .
history
The group, founded in 2007 in San Pedro , a district of Los Angeles , consists of singer Walter Delgado, the two guitarists Carlos Morales and Alfredo Dario Pedrozo, as well as bassist Benjamin Ruiz and drummer Jorge Cabrera.
In the founding year, a demo was released under the title This Is Just a Life , which was reissued as an EP a year later. Another EP followed in 2009 with Vandalized . In 2011 the debut album Street Prowl was finally released . It was released on 6131 Records. In 2013, the production and release of the second album, called The Wrong Way , followed. This was also published in the first edition via 6131 Records. On October 3, 2013 it was announced that the group had signed with Pure Noise Records and their second album would be reissued. The albums are distributed in South America through Seven Eight Life Recordings . The third studio album is scheduled for 2014.
Rotting Out has toured the United States several times . In May 2013 a US concert tour was supposed to be the opening act for Expire and Your Demise , but it was canceled. Rotting Out was the opening act for Stray from the Path , Stick to Your Guns and The Ghost Inside on the Get What You Give US Tour , which took place between March 7th and April 7th, 2013. The first European tour followed between October 11th and 26th, 2013, including the United Kingdom , Germany , Italy , France , Belgium and the Netherlands . From May to July 2014 the band gives a few shows in Europe , including a gig on May 3rd at Groezrock in Meerhout , which was also the band's first ever festival appearance . At other shows the band is supported by Being as an Ocean , Hundredth , Letlive , Memphis May Fire ( Summerblast Festival only ) and Stick to Your Guns, among others .
On March 10, 2015 an EP was released with Reckoning via Pure Noise Records . Two weeks later, the group surprisingly announced the breakup.
In 2018 the band got together again and announced a new release via Pure Noise Records. The first concert after the dissolution took place on January 11, 2019, one day after the release of the new single "Reaper".
