Stray from the Path is a four-piece hardcore punk band from Long Island , New York City , formed in 2001 .
history
Stray from the Path, which were formed in Long Island in 2001 , have released six studio albums so far. Her debut album, People Over Profit , was released on her own in 2002. This was followed by the group's first signing with a label, Pride Recordz. A year later, the group released their second album called Audio Prozac through this label .
The group switched to Five Point Records where their third album Our Oceania and a split CD with Lilu Dallas called How to Make a Ucalegon were released in 2005 . Eventually the band switched to Sumerian Records , their current label. Through the record company, the group produced their three albums Villains (2008), Make Your Own History (2009) and Rising Sun (2011). The latter was able to position itself in the Heatseekers charts of Billboard magazine .
Stray from the Path toured with The Word Alive , The Acacia Strain , The Ghost Inside , Terror , For Today , Stick to Your Guns , Underoath , Every Time I Die , Norma Jean and Bleeding Through . The band toured the United States in 2012 on the Allstars Tour and are confirmed for the 2013 Rock Sound Impericon Exposure Tour .
In the summer of 2014, Stray from the Path toured Europe with The Ghost Inside, Deez Nuts and Devil in Me .
In the winter of 2018/19, Stray from the Path toured Europe with While She Sleeps .
