Rudolf Franz Eichhorn (born November 29, 1853 in Kleinpoppen ; † February 7, 1925 in Vienna ) was an Austrian pastor and member of the Reichsrat .

Life

The farmer's son attended the academic high school in Vienna and the state high school in Krems an der Donau . Eichhorn became a religious priest of the Augustinian Canons of Klosterneuburg Abbey . After his ordination in 1879 he worked as a cooperator in Heiligenstadt and Floridsdorf . In 1883 and 1888 he published the results of his surveys to pastors in factory types. From 1887 Eichhorn worked as parish administrator in the patronage church of St. Jakob in the working-class district of Floridsdorf, in 1889 pastor in Höflein on the Danube in Klosterneuburg , from 1895 in Nussdorf , where he worked for almost 30 years. Most recently he lived in the Jedlese mansion , where he also died.

Eichhorn was a member of the Reichsrat from 1888 to 1890 and belonged to the circle around Baron Karl von Vogelsang .
