Rudolf Krohn (politician)

Rudolf Krohn (born September 29, 1917 in Berlin ; † August 12, 1995 there ) was a German politician ( CDU ).

Rudolf Krohn attended an elementary school and did an apprenticeship as a workshop plumber and fitter . He worked as an assembly fitter in aircraft construction . In 1938 he had to do the Reich Labor Service and in 1943 he was drafted into the Air Force by the Wehrmacht .

After the Second World War , Krohn joined the CDU in 1945 and became an employee of BEWAG in Berlin . In the first Berlin election in 1946 , he was elected to the District Assembly (BVV) in the Lichtenberg district. In 1949 he moved to the ( West Berlin ) district of Wedding and was elected to the BVV Wedding in the 1950 election. But in May 1951 Krohn moved up to the Berlin House of Representatives , as Charles Schmidt was elected to the district councilor in Wedding. Krohn was a member of parliament until February 1963.
