Gert Mollin

Gert Mollin (born May 26, 1912 in Marienburg , West Prussia , † December 5, 1976 in Munich ) was a German politician ( CDU ).

Gert Mollin attended high school and studied film, photography and commercial graphics. From 1934 he was self-employed in this area. In 1939 he was drafted into the Wehrmacht and served as an aviator and paratrooper in the Air Force .

After the Second World War , Mollin became an independent graphic and advertising designer again in 1945 . During the Berlin blockade he did voluntary work at Gatow airfield . He joined the CDU and worked mainly as a photographer . In the Berlin election in 1954 , Mollin was elected to the district assembly in the Tiergarten district. In the next election in 1958 he was elected to the Berlin House of Representatives, to which he belonged until 1967.
