The Ruta 12 , also called Vicepresidente Sánchez , is a trunk road in Paraguay . The road forms a diagonal east-west route in the Gran Chaco and runs from Remansito near the capital Asunción to the Parque Nacional Tinfunque. The route is 303 kilometers long.
Street description
The Ruta 12 begins in Remansito on the west bank of the Río Paraguay near the border with Argentina . Asunción is located on the east bank, which can be reached via the connection with Ruta 9 . The RN12 runs west through the northern savannah, a short distance parallel to the Argentine border. There are no significant villages on the way, the road leads into the Tinfunque National Park.
