The Ruta 11 , also called Juana de Lara , is an expressway in Paraguay . The road is an east-west route from Antequera to Capitán Bado on the border with Brazil . The RN11 is 228 kilometers long.

Street description

Ruta 11 begins in the city of Antequera on the Paraguay River . The road runs east through the sparsely populated northeast of Paraguay. There are only a few major cities on the route. A small part of the route is numbered twice with the Ruta 3 . The road runs east through the savannah, with remaining parts of the rainforest. Ruta 11 ends on the border with Brazil in Capitán Bado.

history

The RN11 is traditionally a secondary route. The western part of the street was paved around 2005 and the eastern part of the street was completely unpaved in 2013.

In their 2011 correspondence, Five Years, the authors Christian Kracht and David Woodard discuss traveling along the Ruta 11 to and from Nueva Germania . In Die Südharzreise , Woodard discusses Route 11 in comparison to Federal Motorway 38 and Route 66 .
