The Ruta 7 is a national road in Uruguay . It is named after General Aparicio Saravia .
The 387-kilometer road begins near Montevideo and ends in Melo . On its way from the south to the northeast of the country, it leads through San Jacinto , José Batlle y Ordoñez , Santa Clara de Olimar . The first, around 100 kilometers long section from Montevideo is classified as Red Primaria .
