life and career

Ryan Malgarini, who was born in the summer of 1992 in the city of Renton in the US state of Washington, had first contact with acting in his early childhood, when he met his grandmother Gloria M. Malgarini , who often worked in advertising, but also in films like Season of Change , Mars Attacks! or The Mexican was employed, watched on television and then decided to become an actor himself. He came to California with his family as a child, but eventually settled in Las Vegas , Nevada . From this time on, he worked as an extra at his grandmother's side in various commercials and was in action in commercials for McDonald’s and Washington Mutual , among others . In 2002 Malgarini finally made his film debut in State of Mind , although the film only had its actual premiere in 2004 and was only shown at selected festivals the year before. Also in 2003 he was in Greg Mottola's The Big Wide World of Carl Laemke and in Mark Waters Freaky Friday , where he played a younger version of the main actor Ryan Gosling in the first mentioned film and another not insignificant supporting role in the second part when Harry Coleman was sitting. He also had a guest appearance on the television series Gilmore Girls that year . For his role as Harry Coleman , he was nominated for a Young Artist Award in the category “Best Performance in a Feature Film - Young Actor Age Ten or Younger” the year after the premiere . Also in 2004, Malgarini was used in the pilot film The Robinsons: Lost in Space , which was to represent a remake of the 1960 series Lost Between Alien Worlds . After the production of the pilot, the production of the following series was discontinued, however, because The WB did not select the series for the fall 2004 season. Another appearance in 2004 he was able to record in the successful television series Malcolm in the middle , where he was seen in the tenth episode of the fifth season in the role of little Noah .

After another supporting role in the television film The Ice Hockey Princess , released in 2005, he was featured in an episode of the short-lived series Standoff , as well as another notable supporting role in Billy's Bet or How to Eat Fried Worms , where he slipped into the role of Benjy . For the role, he and another twelve-person team consisting of young up-and-coming actors received a Young Artist Award in the “Best Young Ensemble in a Feature Film” category. After a year without any premieres of productions in which Malgarini was involved, he was only seen on the screens again from 2008. That year he was cast on the official cast of Happy Campers , a television series that should have been released that year. After the production of the pilot, however, the series was discontinued, although all actors have already been ordered to the cast. He was also seen this year for the first time in the role of Tom Brooks , which he held in the 2007 US sitcom Gary Unmarried . As one of the main characters of the series, he was used in all published episodes and was also increasingly awarded or nominated. In addition to a nomination for a Young Artist Award in the category "Best Performance in a TV Series (Comedy or Drama) - Supporting Young Actor" in 2009, the series and with it Malgarini also received a People's Choice Award this year . In the following year there was also an award in the category “Best Performance in a TV Series (Comedy or Drama) - Supporting Young Actor” at the 31st Young Artist Awards. In 2011 Ryan Malgarini was finally seen in the thriller Riddle in a supporting role as Nathan Teller . Around 2003 he and Oscar winner Tom Hanks took part in an in-house test, a test film relating to motion capture technology, for the film The Polar Express , but was only intended for this test film and not for the later original version.
