SC Stroitel Brest
The SC Stroitel Brest (Belarusian: Будаўнік Брэст) is a hockey club from the Belarusian city of Brest on the border with Poland. Stroitel, which means construction worker, was founded in 1988 as a sports club of a combine . From 1989 to 1992, the club, which played all in red, took part in the operations of the highest league in the Soviet Union , and from 1993 in the championships of Belarus. Until 1995 the club was subordinate to the union committee of the combine, before it became an independent sports club. Stroibel is the most successful men's hockey club in Belarus with numerous national championships and cup victories. In the Euro Hockey League 2010/11 , where the club competed for the first time, the team lost in the preliminary round 2: 7 against the English club Reading HC and 0:12 against HC Bloemendaal .
1989-2004 belonged to the combine Stroitel Stadium , where SC Stroitel also competed.
