Sabine Petzl (born August 9, 1965 in Vienna ) is an Austrian actress and presenter .

Life

Petzl grew up in Vienna and trained at the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna as well as speaker training at the Logo moderator school in Frankfurt am Main . She took acting classes at the Hollywood Acting Workshop in Los Angeles and has been a trained communication trainer since April 2014.

Petzl had her first stage engagement in the Berndorf City Theater at the summer games there under the direction of Felix Dvorak . She had her first television appearance in 1991 as a program announcer at ORF and in 1994 she received a Romy as the most popular program announcer. In 1994 she made her first television appearance in the series Kommissar Rex . More TV series and films followed. Petzl's best-known role is that of the rescue helicopter pilot Biggi Schwerin in the series Medicopter 117 - Every Life Counts . She can also be seen repeatedly in theater productions and most recently played the leading female role Saskia Berg in the ZDF series Coast Guard in Northern Germany (Baltic Sea) . She also appears regularly with her children's book cinema KIBUKI in Austria and Germany and works as a communication trainer in German-speaking countries. Since summer 2014 she has been living with her son in Salzburg, Austria.

Petzl had himself photographed for the August issue of German Playboy in 2015 . In 2016 she took part in the ORF show Dancing Stars and reached fourth place with her dance partner Thomas Kraml.
